About the Poet

Sarah Quinn (Your Own Personal Poet) has been writing poetry and prose for almost two decades.  She was selected to receive the 2008-2009 Kagel-Blessing Creative Writing scholarship at Brigham Young University.  She received second place for essay and honorable mention for poetry in the 2008 Vera Hinckley Mayhew Creative Arts  Contest and second place in the 2008 David O. McKay Essay Contest. Her work has been published in various journals, including Borrowed Earth and Inscape.
